A falling curtain of coating applies an even film across flat stock at line speed, with minimal loss.
The Machine
A curtain coater pours a continuous, controlled sheet of coating over flat material as it passes underneath. Film thickness is set by curtain flow and conveyor speed, which makes it exceptionally consistent and exceptionally efficient — very little material is lost to overspray.
It suits high-volume flat work where a uniform film across the whole face matters more than edge and profile coverage.
